JFC x Chepe “Machinegun” Mariscal
Just Fight Co. Welcomes a Warrior Ahead of UFC 322
Just Fight Co. is proud to announce our newest athlete partnership with Chepe “Machinegun” Mariscal. Chepe steps into the Octagon at Madison Square Garden for UFC 322, bringing the same mentality that defines everything we stand for: Just Fight.
Born and raised in Cicero, Illinois, just outside Chicago, Chepe learned early what it meant to grind. His parents first put him into martial arts to help instill discipline — they probably didn’t realize they were lighting a fuse. Over time, that discipline evolved into a relentless drive that carried him from Midwest gyms to the global stage.
When asked what the toughest part of training camp is, Chepe doesn’t talk about weight cuts or sparring sessions. His answer is simple and honest: “Missing family time.” That’s who he is at his core- a dedicated fighter and a devoted husband and father. Outside the cage, you’ll find him with his wife Claire and their daughter Zena, the two people who keep him grounded while he continues to climb.
Before fight night, Chepe stays locked in with a steady routine, fueling up on whatever his nutritionist or the UFC Performance Institute lays out for him. When it’s time to flip the switch, you can bet “God, Save Me from Myself” by Ashes of Eden is playing through his headphones as he walks toward the lights.
Chepe describes his style as “sprawl and brawl”. High pace, no quit, built on heart and hard work. It’s exactly why this partnership makes sense. When asked what made him want to team up with Just Fight Co., his answer couldn’t have been more fitting:
“‘Just Fight’ is pretty indicative of how I fight, and it felt like a good fit.”
We couldn’t agree more.
As he prepares to throw down against Pat Sabatini in his sixth UFC appearance, we’re proud to stand behind a fighter who embodies the brand not just in the cage, but in life.
Discipline. Family. Fight.
That’s the Just Fight mentality.
That’s Chepe Mariscal.
